Biography
Dr. Monash is a Board Certified General, Advanced Laparoscopic, and Bariatric Surgeon. He graduated surgical residency from William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan after completing his education at the Wayne State School of Medicine in Detroit. He then continued his surgical training by acquiring a fellowship in Advanced Laparoendoscopic General and Bariatric Surgery at the University of California, Davis Institute.
Dr. Monash performs an extensive spectrum of open and laparoscopic General and Bariatric Surgical operations in Tucson, Arizona. His practice includes, but is not limited to, the following laparoscopic procedures:

As a member of the American College of Surgeons, the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgeons, the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons, and the Society of Laparoscopic Surgeons, Dr. Monash regularly attends societal surgical symposiums, and strives to provide his patients with the highest quality of the current standards of practice.
Dr. Monash is a proud father of two daughters. He and his wife relocated to Tucson in July 2007. He is an outdoor sports enthusiast, and enjoys an active lifestyle including hiking, biking, swimming, and tennis.
